The Boiler Upgrade Scheme is a government initiative that was launched in April 2022. The scheme was designed to encourage even more homeowners to end their reliance on fossil fuels and help the UK achieve its net zero emissions targets.

Through the scheme, the government is providing capital grants of £7,500 towards the purchase of air source heat pumps. This offer is available only to consumers in the UK, the grant must be used towards a new heat pump and property must meet the scheme's criteria.
